Old and new
A building in Mexico that joins brick walls and an old facade to a new body of concrete and glass, with a restaurant at street level and a rooftop pool.
The building keeps the arched brick walls and the wrought-iron balconied facade of an older structure, and wraps them in a new body of concrete, glass and metal screens.
At street level, a restaurant fills the glazed atrium between old and new, open to the tree-lined street. On the roof, a pool and a terrace look out over the city.
