Casa FU3
Wood and overhead light
A residence in Mexico whose living spaces open onto the terrace, with a stair of cantilevered timber treads under a skylight at its heart.
The stair of cantilevered timber treads beneath a skylight is the spine of the house: it links the levels and draws daylight into the centre.
The ground-floor living spaces open fully to the terrace and the garden. Slatted timber walls with slots of light, bookcases and built-in furniture warm the interiors.
