Cassatt Ejército Nacional
Wood, colour and tile
Cassatt restaurant on Ejército Nacional, Mexico City: a double-height dining room open to the tree-lined street, with a geometric-tile bar, timber and coloured walls.
The main dining room is a double-height space with tall windows onto the tree-lined street; timber floors and brass lamps warm the room.
The bar is clad in black and white geometric tile and topped by shelving in wood and glass. The private rooms are told apart by the colour of their walls — green, teal, blue — and by timber ceilings that lower the scale over the tables.
