Casa VE
Stone and overhead light
A residence in Mexico of white volumes and dry-stacked stone walls, its interiors filled with bands of overhead light.
From outside, a long dry-stacked stone wall runs beside the white volumes of the house; agaves and a dry garden complete the facade.
Inside, a row of skylights draws bands of light across the walls and timber floor of the double-height space. Upstairs, a glass-floored bridge lets the light fall through.
