Stone, brick and vault
A country residence in Mexico of stone and brick walls, with brick vaults, timber pergolas and terraces open to the fields.
Stone and brick walls alternate in restrained volumes that settle into the open landscape. Porches of timber beams and pergolas shelter terraces that look out over the fields.
Inside, brick vaults roof the living room and corridors; a glass bridge crosses between stone walls and the pool runs alongside the living spaces. The house revisits traditional techniques through a contemporary composition.
